ROSE is an illustrated book for all ages.

rose is a story of a girl that grew up feeling different from others. as she gets older, she tries to assimilate and make herself appear similar to others. she then finds herself graduating from high school and moving on to higher education, where she has an epiphany about her identity.

another part of my undergrad thesis included an exhibition featuring a patterned wall, ROSE posters, an animation of ROSE next to mini square cards (mini posters, in a way), a soft fleece doll of ROSE sitting in a chair next to a table featuring several copies of the illustrated book.
